Just Things

I've been catching up on some of the blogs I read. (Stef, you have funny little kids!) It's made me think about how funny my kids are (at times). Isaac for one thing is getting to be a really strange little boy! I just put him to bed and a few minutes later Aaron and I hear this little voice saying 'hi, hi'. I went into his room to see him holding back the curtain and saying hi to the outside. There was no one out there, but he was saying hi none the less. When I told him that he needed to lay down and I gave him a little bum smack he giggled and said 'ouch'. He makes his brothers laugh really hard everyday. He finally went to nursery without crying on Sunday. He did it because he now knows where they keep the balls. He found a ball and during the prayer proceeded to get ready to throw the ball in the nursery leaders face. Luckly Aaron was standing right there and was able to grab the ball just in time!

Andrew is mad at me alot lately. Today it was because we were at the cemetary with a friend putting some flowers on her dad's grave. We decided to walk around and look at some of the older grave stones. Andrew kept stepping on the gravestones, even with me telling him every 2 minutes to not step on them. Finally he lost it and while looking at me stepped on a gravestone. While he was doing this he had his arms tightly folded across his chest with his bottom lip firmly out. I finally had to ask him if he wanted people to step on his stone. He said no and stopped stepping on them. I hate to talk like that, but it worked. He got mad tonight too. I told him to get ready for bed and once again with the pout firmly in place got pjs, went potty, slowly put the jammies on and then crawled into bed. He's having a rough week so far.

Ethan is so ready for summer. He asks me everyday how many days until June. he has finally learned to take things slow when taking a test. He's doing so much better at reading comp now! He's making a secret art project at school. So secret in fact that he's been telling me about it for 3 weeks now. It's a plate that he decorated and the teacher sent it off to be glazed. He's so excited about this plate! He is such a good big brother to Isaac. He takes really good care of him. He even puts up with Andrew tagging along after him everyday after school. (most of the time).
