Been a Bit

So it's been awhile since I've blogged. We've had some interesting things lately. Here we go....! Shortly before Halloween we were sitting at home on a Sunday afternoon. Pretty much everyone was in a various state of undress, (being that we were having a lazy day) when all of a sudden we hear a blood curdling scream. Aaron and I jump off the bed and ran toward the sound. We found that it was Andrew. Isaac had also started crying as hard as he could. Aaron grabbed Andrew to find out what was wrong. There was some foreign substance stuck to his arm. Aaron took him into the bathroom to run his arm under the cold water and to wash the gunk off his arm. As he ran Andrew's arm under the water, Andrew's skin started to come off with the gunk. We looked at eachother and said,'We have to take him in'. We started to go crazy getting everyone dressed and out the door. (I found that at certain times we can get out of the house in less than 5 min.) We got everyone in the car and took off. There is no clinic open on Sunday's in Tooele, so we had to drive up to Bangeter Highway. Aaron drove 90mph the whole way while I was on 'cop watch'. We were lucky in that we didn't see one cop the whole way. We made it to the IHC clinic in record time and rushed Andrew in. We checked in and got Andrew in real quick. Come to find that he burned himself pretty badly. We took him to our regular Dr a few days later and found out that it was a second degree burn and that we have to keep it wrapped up for at least a week and a half. The burn on his wrist doesn't seem too be healing as well as the rest. It looks uglier than it did in the picture above. If it isn't looking better soon we shall have another trip to the Dr.
