Last Night

Last night Aaron came home from work and it was still light outside!!!! There are weeks where I forget what he looks like in daylight! The most exciting part of last night though was that Andrew learned how to ride his bike without training wheels!!!

It all started out with Aaron fixing the tubes on Andrews bike. After that Andrew told Aaron not to put the training wheels back on because he needed to learn how to ride a two wheeler. We got Andrew on the bike with Aaron holding on the back, then off they went down the street. As they were coming back Aaron let go. Andrew, not knowing that he was riding by himself until we started to cheer, was mad peddling! He stopped and Aaron helped his take off again. This time Andrew rode onto the grass and fell over. He immedetly blamed Aaron for aiming him toward the grass!! As we set him up again he looked at Aaron and said, 'No, I got it.' We were a little surprized as it was only 5 min into the lesson. We helped him with the take off and there he went! We were both surprized! He still is having a little trouble with the take off, but he is out there riding by himself!

Also Aaron gets bit by mosquitos like he's the buffet table at Chuck-a-rama during seniors night. But last night no one got bit! We had about 20 dragonflies flying around our house! I've never seen so many dragonflies! When Aaron left for a church meeting, they left too! I told Aaron they were there to protect him from all the west nile mosquitos!!! It was just an amazing sight to see so many together. Molly (our cat) had a lot of fun watching too, although none came low enough to get caught by her!!
