We have had a fun summer so far. True there are things still left to do, but here are a few that we have done.
It started with Ethan almost breaking Andrew's nose by throwing a nerf sword at him. We ran to an evening Drs office and found out that it was just a really bad bruise that stayed for 2 weeks on his face!
Then we all got the swine flu!!! We were not a happy family at this time!! Those are fever cooler pads on their heads since we all had really high fevers!!! We got better though.
We have gone to the Zoo a couple times. Isaac really likes the zoo, he always has fun there. When we had the boys sit by this window to get the pic taken Andrew was a little nervous. The last time we were there in the evening we were at this window. One of the zoo people was cleaning this window and the cat was playing with her trying to get the paper towel through the glass. Andrew walked one way and the cat followed him trying to get him, then when we told him what was happening he quickly walked the other way with the cat still trying to get him! It was really funny!
We also went to the Black family reunion. We camped there one night and the boys loved it!!! They thought that camping was the best thing ever! The reunion was at Pineview, so the boys had tons of fun playing in the water. Andrew who is scared of doing nothing (this kid climbs and jumps off of everything) is scared of the water! He needed to have some floaties and then he was ok. Andrew also played some games with grandma Black. He loves to pose for pics!!! Isaac had fun too! Although he never went into the water, he played with lots of toys! They had tons of food there so we were never short. Andrew had 6 snowcones, and about 6 cotton candys!!! Piggy!
On July 26 my baby turned 1!!!! We had family and friends over and had a little dinner! Alta came over and made a dutch oven dinner and it was really good! Isaac didn't like so many people, but as soon as we brought out his cake he was ok. His cake was decorated as a hamburger! It was awsome!! At first we had to show him what to do, but as soon as he figured it out he really got into it!! He made himself a frosting shirt and even got in on his feet! It took 2 baths to get him clean and even after that I found cake in his ear and nose the next day!!!! He had a blast!
