first day of school

Ethan had his first day of second grade on Monday. Sunday night he had a really hard time going to bed. Then when I had to wake him up Monday morning he had a look on his face, like he really wasn't sure what was going to happen. He got up and got to eat french toast for breakfast (which is not a common occerance at our house). I showed him where his clothes were and he got dressed. Since it was the first day of school the other boys and I walked him to school. We got there and made sure his teacher was the same (as they do like to change them sometimes). We walked down to his classroom and made sure he knew where he was in the school. We walked in and met his teacher who's name I have trouble pronouncing. Crasscro or something. (I'm sure I'll learn it later.) He wore a name tag the first day and got to sit where ever he wanted. (when he heard that he got to sit where ever he wanted he had a look on his face like that was awsome!!) I left and went home. Later when he got home I asked him how his day was. He said that the best part of his new class was that they didn't have tables, they had desks!! And they get to put things in the desks!!! That and one of his best friends is in his class. A boy named Harry who is one of the sillest boys I have ever met! I would put a pic of him on here all ready for school, but Aaron drove away with the camera in the car and I had to take it with my phone. It's on my facebook page if you really want to see it. He's turning into such a handsome kid! No longer looks like a baby, now he really looks like a boy. Crazy!
