As you can see from this picture of Andrew asleep on the kitchen floor, he can fall asleep almost anywhere when he is real tired. Well last night we got home really late. Earlier in the day we had dropped Aaron off at the airport, then we went to my mom's for a bit and ate dinner. After that we went to my Aunt Sylvia's for a visit with Rachel, who lives in New York and we don't get to see a whole lot. Then we decided to go to my brother Patrick's house. We roasted
marshmellows, made fire grilled
sandwhiches, and had fun talking. Andrew played with the wind chimes and did some Ti Chi dances that he made up (which were
acually pretty good)! We were there quite late and everyone was tired when we left. We drove home and all the boys fell asleep in the back of the car. When we got home I got Andrew out of the car and stood him up beside me, then I woke up Ethan and got Isaac. I brought Isaac in the house and I went out to get some more of the stuff out of the car. I didn't see Andrew, so I thought he must be inside somewhere. I came in the house and looked on the couch, not there, looked in his room, not there, looked in the bathroom, not there, looked in my room, not there. Now I'm looking under the bed and behind doors, not there. I go outside and start to call him (realizing that he is asleep and won't answer, I still felt the need to call). I walk around the car, look between the trash cans. Now I'm starting to freak out a little. We had just bought a new
lanturn that I now get out of the box and start wandering around the yard (still calling). Finally I found him. He was in my neighbors yard asleep in the grass! It was so dark out that I don't know how long I would have had to look if I didn't have the
lanturn. I brought him in the house and got him ready for bed. Called my sister to tell her and finally calmed down! Can't believe I lost Andrew to sleep walking!!! I'll pay more attention in the future!!
