Regatta

A few months ago (I'm a little late) Ethan had his first scout Regatta! For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about it's where the boys make little sail boats and then they get to race them by blowing into the sails without touching the boat.
Ethan made his boat a few weeks before the event and he named his boat 'Dare Devil'! He had done a really good job of building his boat. I don't know how much help he had from his leaders, but he didn't have any help from Aaron or me!
The day of the regatta came and Ethan was ready. There were quite a few scouts there ready as well. Ethan raced his first heat and lost. He was dissapointed, but was a good sport and cheered other people on.
After the first series of races they decided to race all again! Ethan won his first heat, and then his second, and third, and then the whole thing!!! Even though he was a good sport the first time, he decided winning is much more fun! He got a little medal for participating and had tons of fun and tons of pizza!.
